Susan guides BCLC's communications, social responsibility, and customer relations strategies, including responsibility for the GameSense program. Susan has led issues management and corporate strategies on a number of significant matters that attracted provincial, national, and international media attention. Having worked in communications and government relations for 15 years she has developed a passion for community engagement and has successfully used a grassroots approach to achieve and maintain the company’s highest-ever public support ratings. Susan spearheaded an industry-wide effort to improve public understanding of the gaming industry and its immense contributions to BC’s economy and is currently leading the evolution of BCLC’s approach to responsible gambling by focusing on player health.
