Vice President of iGaming and Canadian Services
Salim Adatia is Vice President of iGaming and Canadian Services at Gaming Laboratories International (GLI).
As the world’s most experienced test lab, GLI remains the foremost authority in the land-based and iGaming sectors providing high quality testing & consulting services.
Mr. Adatia is the driving force behind GLI's global Internet, Mobile and Wireless testing and consultancy dvision with a focus on ensuring companies adhere to comprehensive technical regulatory requirements, supplier technical specifications, and global best-practice industry standards.
Mr. Adatia is responsible for GLI's global iGaming operations and direction, overseeing key supplier relationships across all GLI laboratories. As one of the world’s leading experts in the field, he works with government regulators, gaming operators and suppliers by providing world class customer service, technical advice and certification services globally. He leverages his 16+ years experience in multi-lingual projects, crossing over both traditional land-based and iGaming, related to Internet, Mobile, Wireless in-venue, and Interactive-TV deployments.
Mr. Adatia was instrumental in the original establishment of GLI’s highly successful and rapidly expanding Professional Services division, whose experts lead the world in Quality Assurance assessments, Project Management, World Lottery Association (WLA) Audits, ISO training, Security Auditing and Consultation, and other Technical Services.
Previous to his current VP role, Mr. Adatia served for five years as CEO of GLI’s Canadian operation and was responsible for coast to coast Canadian iGaming, Land-based and Professional Services operations.
Prior to its acquisition by GLI, Mr. Adatia was CEO of the Technical Systems Testing (TST) group of companies worldwide and was responsible for driving the performance of the company's global spread of testing facilities located in Vancouver, London, Macau, Manila, Sydney and Melbourne.
Mr. Adatia has also previously been honored as one of the gaming industry’s “Top 25 People to Watch” by Global Gaming Business magazine. He has spoken at a variety of industry conferences in Canada, the U.S., Asia, Europe, Latin America and Australia. He has also been interviewed by, and written for, numerous publications serving the industry internationally.
