Daniel Sahl



Daniel Sahl is the Associate Director of the Center for Gaming Innovation at UNLV: a program focused on researching and creating new casino games and casino products. Daniel recently graduated with a Ph.D. in sociology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where his doctoral work looked at the convergence of video game design with present-day slot machines and how these new games impact the player’s experience. He has multiple issued and pending US patents for new casino game technology and writes and speaks frequently on the topic of emerging innovation trends in casino gaming including emerging technology, esports and skill-based slot gaming.
