As Senior Vice President of Global Product Marketing, Interactive, Matteo guides IGT’s global interactive product development and marketing strategy for iLottery and iGaming. He is also responsible for pursuing initiatives aimed at increasing same-store sales, providing support throughout the entire sales cycle.

Matteo joined the Company in 2010 as President, Betting and Interactive, and Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing Services for Lottomatica, IGT’s Italian gaming operator.

Prior to this, he worked with Promptu System Corp, a voice-recognition mobile software company co-located in the Stanford Research International campus in Silicon Valley. Matteo also collaborated as a Venture Partner with Innogest S.G.R., the largest early-stage venture capital fund in Italy.

Matteo gained significant experience in consumer services and transportation with Ferrovie dello Stato (FS), Europe’s third-largest railway company. As Vice President of Marketing, he led the company’s e-commerce and wireless strategy, and as Regional General Manager, he oversaw a $200 million business unit with over 1,500 people. 

Earlier in his career, Matteo was with Ford Motor Company in London, U.K., where he managed the deployment of the European Ford-branded B2C internet portals.

Matteo holds an MBA degree from SDA Bocconi School of Management in Milan, a bachelor’s degree in Business Law from the University of Milan, and a specialization in Marketing from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business in California.
